Assessment Process

Assessment of candidates under the Skill Development For Digital J&K and Ladakh project will be conducted in alignment with NSQF standards. Follow the comprehensive process below for registration, examination, and certification.

Examination Fee

Training centers will pay the examination fee on behalf of candidates. This ensures no financial burden on the trainees for their assessment.

Pass percentage is 50% marks in each component with an aggregate pass percentage of 50% and above.

Conduct of Theory Examination

The schedule and venue of the exam will be intimated to candidates through admit cards and via the training partner.

Candidates must carry their Admit Card and a valid Photo ID such as Voter ID, Aadhaar, or a government-issued ID card.

Theory examination will be conducted online with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). No negative marking applies.

Examinations are conducted in English language only.

There is no exemption for any paper/module for candidates with similar qualifications or skills.

Candidates get a maximum of six examination cycles to pass the course within the validity of registration.

For re-examination, the prescribed examination fee must be paid by the candidate only for the assessment components they wish to reappear in.

Practical examination and other components like Internal Assessment and Projects will be conducted offline.

Conduct of Practical Examination

The schedule and venue will be intimated through admit cards and training partners.

Candidates must carry their Admit Card and a valid Photo ID (Voter ID, Aadhaar, government-issued ID).

Practical examinations will be held under the supervision of NIELIT Regional Centres based on question papers provided by NIELIT HQ Examination Wing.

Assessment components like Internal Assessment, Projects, Presentations, and Assignments will be conducted by the training partner.

Candidates must submit their Major Project/Dissertation with the requisite fee to the concerned NIELIT Regional Centre for evaluation and Viva (if applicable).

Result Declaration

Once published, results will be visible to candidates on their student dashboard at student.nielit.gov.in.

Results will also be shared with the training institute through the NIELIT Regional Centre.

Certification

Certificates of candidates who have passed all assessment components and are eligible for the final certificate will be processed and published within two weeks after result declaration.
